Hi everyone,

I have an equipment issue and hoping someone might have an answer.

We run a mixture of Leica TS16s and TS12s robotic total stations with SurvPC on RT3 tablets.?ÿ A few months ago we upgraded from SurvPC 5.x to 6.x.?ÿ We've realized that the joystick function has changed for the worse since the upgraded.

Previously we were able to turn the robots pretty smoothly to where we wanted them to face. Since the upgrade to SurvPC 6.x, they either move a little or a lot. Kind of like there's lag? We're having a difficult time, especially for the more extreme vertical movements, getting the units to face our general direction for the search to lock on.

Anyone else experience this? Again, the only thing that has changed is the version of SurvPC we're using. Figured I'd check on here before delving further into the rabbit hole that is tech support.?ÿ

I have this issue with Trimble but it's only a major issue because Trimble doesn't have a reliable search function. With the Leica robot I occasionally used the joystick and it was fine, but it would always find me first try with powersearch. I never had to point it towards me which is part of why it was such a shock how bad the Trimble s5 is.
