Has 3 legs

1.) Research. Collecting the proper and necessary foundational documents.

2.) Field work:
a. Generating reliable coordinates, that can be worked with.
b. Proper digging, and observation of field evidence.

3.) Proper assemblage of the first 2, into Both Legal, and Practical documents, and monuments.

Leave one hanging, and all you do, is add to the mess.

Thanks Mr Moe Shetty. We can nearly use that tripod, and look to see if we are on the right track. I know people that have one or two legs missing, yet they still call themselves surveyors.
