As far as I know, both CS15 and CS20 are running same OS. I don't know but the CS20 is not supported in SurvCE for now as it is not in the list of supported Leica data collectors shown in survce website.
Any successful experience of using the SurvCE in CS20?

If I recall the CS15 ran a number of Leica instruments under the Viva system, and those instruments would support SurvCe.
When the CS20 arrived they migrated to the Captivate software on the DCs and the instruments.

@rj-schneider Captivate is a Leica winCE application and is not in anyway a constraint for the OS to not allow other winCE application like SurvCE to run. This is the case in CS15 where SmartWorx Viva runs independently with SurvCE as different apps. Fieldgenius is also a winCE app but it runs in CS20. Is this a case of Leica licensing issue?
