I can see it being useful in urban areas with many features, simply run a line of shots and let the photogrammetry grab the stuff to the sides; continuous topo on the quad....

A fair portion of my work is topo in densely-built areas. Something like the V10 would make a great addition to the toolbox: less accurate than a scanner, but much faster and seemingly much simpler. Whether it'll be worth the price remains to be seen, but I'm watching with interest.

While there are plenty of places to put GNSS control in for projects here.
A lot of the work we do is preliminary topo for construction plans, then construction staking.
This would be great to capture utility locate marks and flags in the field
with appropriate accuracy for sign poles, trees, landscape, fence and such as
well.
I can see some real advantages for a fair amount of our work, it's all about getting "management" to buy off on it, and put it in the budget. :-/
