@john-putnam I remember seeing the ads, but I never saw one in action.  I thought it was really going to catch on.

are your r10-2's  upgraded to the r12 specs ?

If so,   does your base make use of the  weak signals do to multipath , canopy, etc

My r12 is phenomenal, I'm considering adding a r12 as a base  to allow  my base to 

be in a more secure location (less than wide open sky)

@tickmagnet Yes, my R10-2's are upgraded to the R-12 engine. I don't know the answer to your second question. However,  every thing I've seen from Trimble about the R-12's says that as long as your base can see all four constellations you're good.  Someone asked in a webinar of it was necessary to have an R-12 for your base and the response was "No".  I don't understand it, but apparently all the magic happens in the rover.
