Had a couple rough days in the heavy brush.?ÿ Not unusual, but in this case I was approached (hunted?) by a pair of wild animals.?ÿ Thank God they relented when startled by a nearby natural water eruption.

Starting to feel like Jed.

Speaking of drones. I was hooking up my disc mower this afternoon to get ready to cut some hay tomorrow. I walked back to the house to see if the wife was ready to follow me to the field to drop off tractor when I heard the buzzing sound of the drone barely a above the tree line and about 25 feet from my back door. Now I looked across fields in all directions and did not see anyone. Some punk kid probably. ?ÿBut it kinda made my redneck red. ?ÿ

i had an encounter with some geese on a job this spring. The treed us both back in the work van. Probably heard us discussing how to prepare them for dinner was why the left lol. They had babies with them and we walked up on them to quickly.?ÿ

They are! They're the Hawaiian state bird and are fairly rare now (and, of course, extremely dangerous in the wild).

From what I understand they've been mostly wiped out by the mongoose influence but are under some state protection so hopefully they won't go extinct.

My solution hasn't been instituted yet - issuing 22's to every resident over 11 and provide $0.25/lb for mongoose meat (chum prices).?ÿ Could also setup mongoose furier operations.?ÿ Personally, I found a perfect mongoose skull once and it was cool enough that I bleached it, siliconed it and gave it to my daughter as a birthday gift.?ÿ It looked like a prototype for the Predator monster.

Good eye.

@noodles?ÿ

As I recall, you tried to convince us that was Wendell lounging on the beach.

@holy-cow Well, Wendell did kick back on the beach! But...about 300+ feet away from that guy. We heard later that some other person was not so lucky. They went up to try to sit on it and it turned around and bit them so bad, they had to go to the hospital and get stitched up! ????
