Probably not new to highway surveyors but a first for me.

200 foot wide highway right of way though a private section in national forest.

I got the plans from UDOT. Didn't show where they set markers but I found them at beginning but not the ends of 300 foot spirals, (engineers CL). Wondered why the end of spiral wasn't marked. Pulled the 1974 deeds yesterday from the recorders office. I don't need to mess with any spirals for the ROW boundary. They extended the horizontal curves half way into the length of the spiral then drew a straight line to the point of spiral. Works for me! The deeds close to a hundredth also. Someone did a great job.

I need to go back and look for markers in the middle of the spiral.?ÿ Should have got the deeds before I went hunting!
