Does anybody remember how to add an antenna model to TGO. I have located the antenna.ini file but it doesn't seem to be like I remember it looking when I open it up. Seems to me that you could just cut and paste the new info into the file.
I have the info below that I think should be pasted but I'm not finding the right file to paste it into.

Hi John,
I never did this manually.
We received a cd-rom with drivers with our R6 (years ago).
We updated our TGO this way.
I guess the 'Trimble Access Installation Manager' will also take care of that if you choose to update your office software. Or does Trimble not longer deliver drivers for TGO?
greetings from Belgium!
Christof.
The Trimble Configuration Update file might do it as well:

I ran the utility but still don't see the R10 antenna in the drop down list. Is it possible it is called something besides R10???
It was a good idea but didn't work.
Thanks
I haven't used TGO in years but isn't there a way to import an NGS antenna model file?
Yeah, but I haven't been able to make that work either. I also thought I could try editing the antenna.ini file but that didn't work either.
Thanks for your ideas.
I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner - try the Data Transfer Utility:
Well no joy in bean town. I ran the data transfer update but no luck. Keep the ideas coming though and I'll keep trying them. I've certainly run out of my own ideas.
Phase Correction Table in TGO?
Is TGO set up similarly to GPSurvey in that you both add the antenna type to the antenna.ini file and add a .PCT file with the phase center corrections?
Example for the L1 antenna in the Trimble Zephyr Geodetic (the comment lines begin with a ";" character):
[pre]
;PCT converted from
;Processor name : pctconvert v1.6

TGO and TBC don't appear to use this file format any longer. Perhaps the file format changed when we went from relative to absolute antenna models. I don't know.
Phase Correction Table in TGO?
So, does TGO not have an "ANTENNA" file that in one file gives the antenna groups and links a specific antenna either to a PhaseCorrTable or NGSCorrTable? I'm probably missing the point, but I had thought that TGO shared much of the basic programming guts with GPSurvey.
A sample from ANTENNA:

PhaseCorrTable=
NGSCorrTable=leiax1202a.ngs

and the NGSCorrTable file leiax1202a.ngs looks like this

Yes TGO actually has 3 antenna files NGS, IGS and Trimble. The user selects which one to use. The trouble is that these appear to be different files than the ones used by GPSurvey.
here is a sample from ngs_antennas.atx:

Phase Correction Table in TGO?
John, Jeff Whittker here. Give Art a call in our office on Monday. if there is a solution then he can get it to you.
But my guess it that the answer is since TGO has not had any updates since it went dark that fateful September day it is time to upgrade to TBC 😐

I agree with you. The certain person we both know also needs to come to that conclusion too.
