My wife upgraded our phones Saturday, and she got me an iPad Mini along with the iPhone 6splus. It's a big phone, but I picked it out, thinking t would help with some of the things I am using my phone for. The iPad was only $99 bucks with the upgrade we did, and it has cellular capabilities, which is handy.
I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Note, which is pretty slick also. I am barely scratch the surface of what these tablet are capable for. I need to stay more organized, and efficient, so any tips on organizing tasks, to do lists, etc. would be appreciated. I have started seeing fellow surveyors using tablets for power point presentations and reference materials/handouts during seminars, and for taking notes electronically. I have a Targus Bluetooth keyboard that word well with my Samsung tablet, as well as my old iPhone.
Any tips, tricks, suggestions is greatly appreciated.
You can get an App for anything almost.
Son has a Ip6. His 7th grade Spanish teacher used an app for Spanish for the students to do workbooks.
I guess it was the "can't beat them join them" tactic. She knew that these kids are on the phones a lot so they had no excuse in completing the assignments
I came across a neat app recently called "Map My Walk".
It will track/map your walk/hike using Google Earth with street view.
