Does anyone know how I can affect the amount of PDOP that appear in the post-process reports, in obtaining multi-point coordinates?
More horizon
More satellites
Check antenna and all connections
Rotate any cables and common antennas
Any loose or failing connection can cause reception problem

Is there a problem in the post process ?.
What are your PDOP values.
From my experience, values of 3 and more are practically useless for post processing of control points.
It also depends upon the frequencies of these high values and whether they return to reliable numbers for a sufficient amount of data collection.
Many times a bad constellation can cause short term PDOP problems that will go away when the arrangements of satellites in the sky are in better geometry.
I will post process one or two ground locations as control points.
Then I will set it as a control point and post process the remaining points as they relate to those two points and the birds in the sky.
For some reason that gives me the best results and points out the locations with less reliable data.
