Looks like the 450C is biting the big one.

Does anyone have any feedback on the HP T610?

Thanks,

Rick

Upside: Good high quality prints, ability to print mylars off a roll (savings in material from cut sheets), and it will add color to enhance prints.
Downside: Changing rolls can be trying. Most of the time it goes fine but occasionally we have to back it out and feed it again a few times. The leading edge of partially used rolls needs to be flattened out as it is usually too curved to be accepted by the machine.
Another downside- There are 6 ink cartridges that cost about $60 apiece for the 130 ml sizes. Your printer will most likely come with 69 ml cartridges that will need to be replaced very soon. You cannot print a black line copy unless all the cartridges have ink. We use very little of the colored ink but must keep watch of all ink levels in order not to run out during a job.
The T610 does the job and I would buy it again but wish it was a little easier to load and would print black without maintaining all the colored cartridges.

Thanks Willard, great feedback.

Wow, $360 worth of ink :-O The cost of ink really frosts me, particularly when you have schemes like that, no black without color. Or chipped cartridges that expire on a preset date. Outrageous.

Thanks again for the input. :good:

Rick
