Has anyone submitted data adhering to the above FAA circular?

We have been asked to perform and submit data following these guidelines. After review of the 100+ page document, it appears you should run executables/routines and adjustments in the NGS software's PAGE-NT processing.

Any advice, forewarning, "your reading too much into this, here's what we did..", would be helpful.

Did PAC's and SAC's on two airports. Follow the spec's to a T. You will have to submit the GPS data to the NGS and PAGES software and better know how to utilize the software or there will be is a big learning curve. Follow the spec's on min KM from the points and the utilization of "A" stability monuments for Verticals.:-O

I've done approximately a dozen of these in the last five years and would be happy to work as a consultant with you for this project. I'll help you get the project completed and submitted correctly the first time. You are not reading too much in to this, it takes a lot of effort and there's a big learning curve if you've never worked with PAGES and ADJUST.

My general advice would be start reading, the NGS are VERY strict about the specs. Create plan, follow plan, PAGES/ADJUST, and report.

Pablo/hardline 228,

Thanks for your comments. We are going into this with the idea, we will have to follow the standards to a "T".

hardline228, we may be in discussion depending on how large the fire spreads. Or we may consult with you on items for the planning/reporting.

I've helped other surveyors before, I can prepare the survey plans and helped get everything approved, then you guys do the mark setting and gps observations, then turn the data over to me for processing/adjustment/reporting. I'd be glad to help you guys through the process. Also, I guarantee you it's easy to blow a budget on this type of project and look bad in front of the client after things get rejected for the third time by the NGS. Feel free to message me with particular questions, good luck!

I thought I'd check with you and see how this project is coming along, 90 days in, any luck with the work plans?
