The three pallets of pitchforks (whatever type of fork is correct) sold a couple of days ago. They went for a total of $2970 plus whatever the applicable sales tax would be. There must have been at least two people who were aware of their true worth making bids.

This weekend I took the 9 year old to a barrel racing event. It was to raise money for breast cancer. They had a silent auction. She saw this fancy sparkly belt she wanted. So she got her ticket and wrote in her bid. A couple hours went by and they announced to remind everyone to get the bids in. She ran down to check and ran back and said daddy somebody is higher by $3 . I sailor well you win some and lose some. She sat for another hour and said i am going to bid this much. $2 more. I said ok its your money and you need to remember you are getting your hat tomorrow and know what that will cost. She checked her math asked me if it was correct. I said yes. So she upped the bid. 5 minutes before they announced she asked for her money ran down checking and she was still ahead. Right before an elderly lady walked up and upped the bid $1 daughter nor i saw it to many people standing around. She walked up to pay and the lady running everything said I am sorry this lady bid higher.. as we were walking back to finish watching the events this lady grabbed me and pointed the belt she could not speak. A lady with her said she wants her to have the belt. So my daughter paid her for it as i wanted her to understand the spending money and saving. That lady was nice and my daughter gave her the biggest hug and was on cloud 9 the rest of the night.
