Just a heads up, after quite a bit of poking around, it appears that LGO IS NOT compatible with IE9 (only available with Vista or WIN7).

The issue is the use of the Adobe SVG viewer in the HTML reports, so the issue ONLY shows up when creating any of the HTML reports that has graphics embedded. The rest of LGO seems to run just fine.

I just tried loading the latest Firefox and setting that as my default browser, that didn't seem to work either.

Downgraded IE9 back to IE8 and all is well!

I have been fighting this problem for a while, I thought it was a WIN7 64 bit issue, BUT when a 32 bit Vista machine in the office started having the same problem, I traced it to a Windows update that installed IE9.

Adobe SVG viewer reached EOL support by Adobe on 01-Jan-2009, so I don't see any help coming in the form of a new SVG engine from Adobe. Supposedly IE9 has built in support for SVG, however no joy with LGO. I suspect there is a conflict with the IE9 SVG engine and the Adobe SVG Viewer plug-in.

I have submitted the issue to Leica tech support, I suspect a rewrite of the LGO software in regards to how graphics are implemented in the HTML reports will be required, in the meanwhile using IE8 or older will have to do.

HTML reporting is very slick from a presentation perspective, but it's pretty dismal for generating custom reports if the HTML is the only data source. I don't know about LGO, but in TGO there is at least one field (mark-to-mark height difference, crucial for height modernization QC) that's not available via the report generation dialog and has to be parsed from the raw HTML. I wish there were a plain ASCII reporting option.
