Check out this "range pole"

https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-with-tags-Lietz-Range-Pole-Tripod-for-Surveying-forward-back-sighting-/164797062914?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

And, somebody called a plumb bob scabbard, a "holster". He must be watching re-runs of gunsmoke, or thinking about old west movies!

I'm ashamed!

Nate

Nate, you have always shown willingness to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Don't "brush" them off so quickly! ?????ÿ

At least he's wanting to sell the tripod, not the so-called range pole.

You are right. Nowhere in his ad does he mention the "range pole".

But, the broom handle sent me into a "sweeping" fit of hysterical laughter!

@nate-the-surveyor?ÿ

IMHO, that "broom handle" is more like a telescopic pole with threaded end for a paint roller.

Well it's obvious you ain't been in Home Depot or, my special place, WalMart lately. That yellar telescopic pole is either for a light bulb changer, a paint roller holder thingy, or a cobweb duster receptacle do dad....sheesh Natester. ?????ÿ

One day, I'd like to travel to the USA and visit Home Depot and WalMart.

Surely you must have something that resembles them?

LOL, there is but not on the same scale. They have catchphrases like "where everyone gets a bargain" and "cost u less", which are inversely proportional to reality.

Last time I was in one, some "Lady" parked her trolley in front of the checkout, then went on probing, radial missions from that home-point, doing her shopping - class.

It's also very common to use a paint-pole as an antenna pole/extension when using RTK equipment.

I'd like and adaptor for the threads on a paint pole, to put 5/8x11 antenna on top. Do you know of any such adaptor?

Thanks,

Nate
