I've tried linking files, but it caused an issue on the office side with check points using the original point number (trying not to add useless extra points in subdivisions that already have thousands) so they said to switch back to just importing the CSV.?ÿ

when I was force fed the gargantuan field ALL points files, I just clipped out what I needed to shoot, save as a new file name, and then Import for stake out etc.

When you link versus import, they get lost, when you import it's integrated into the job file.

Mind this though, save new shots with a prefix to keep them from being overwritten or doubled, there's lots of options.

HMU if you want to bounce ideas.

@ramses?ÿ

It's funny that the newest geomax looks exactly like the Leica 1200+ but with a different paint job. I do wish I had that robot instead of the Trimble. That noise is the only thing I don't miss. Lol.?ÿ

I ended up taking the sx12 today for all my reflectorless shots instead of the Leica. I'm still getting used to the video feed navigation but it's not bad at all. When it's dark and you can't see the video well then at least I can definitely see the green laser beam and you can control it much more precisely than the s5 laser with the joystick. Also it hits the same point on both faces unlike the s series.

No idea what happened here, but this is an example of the random stuff that seems to happen to me every day. I timed it and the sx12 shoots in 2.5-3 seconds, which is nothing to complain about. But shooting this control point to close out with, it decided to try for 8 seconds and fail every time ("std dev not achieved"). Site super showed up and talked with me for 5 minutes and after that it shot without issue and continued to work fine. Hopefully the video works, so you can see the clear line of sight and relatively clean mt1000 prism glass.

I used the sx12 for half a day shooting a whole bunch of reflectorless corners. Besides the one time where it failed to shoot the prism, I had no other issues. I'm a much bigger fan of it than the s5.?ÿ

@350rocketmike?ÿ

the green fricken laser is cool, I wish Leica had patented or IP Protected a Wild Leica green laser before the banana boat did.

I'm diving into the green fog and appreciating their simple and consistent shared parts(batteries chargers etc) between each of the succession products. Less hassle, very efficient and European.
