I??m curious if anyone has some pointers for doing an integrated survey with the SX12 and an R10 connected to an RTN (we are using the latest ACCESS on the TSC7).
I thought my trouble was that I was using the WiFi connection to the SX12, as opposed to the radio connection with the SX12 - every time I switched away from the GPS and connected to the SX12??s WiFi, the RTN??s WiFi connection would get severed(?) and the GPS survey would get ended. I figured I just needed to use the radio to connect with the SX12 and the WiFi with the RTN..
But then I saw this video from Frontier Precision, and it clearly shows they are somehow switching back and forth between the WiFi used for their VRS connection and the SX12??s WiFi.
Could my issue be that I??m using a MiFi puck to provide the WiFi for the RTN, as opposed to having a SIM card in the TSC7?
I haven??t tried using a Base/Rover with the SX12, I??m assuming that should work.
WiFi range is limited - you can't get far from the instrument - around 90m max - for 'Integrated' a radio link works better. The bluetooth link is for when you are standing beside the instrument like scanning.
As for the corrections - are you doing internet via the controller or direct from the receiver? - either 'should' work. You can try the sim card in the R10...
Just my $0.02
the MiFi thing I was using is it’s own device - it’s a little puck shaped thing that has cellular access and broadcasts a WiFi signal. I connect to that WiFi signal through the TSC7.
