You were asked the age of the monumentation. You ignored it. You sometimes have to leave the markers of others that you disagree with as there may be rights associated with them. Newer monumentation, you contact the surveyor to see if there is a reason he set it that you are unaware of- say a land swap in the works that you are unaware of. There is no excuse for yanking an iron because you disagree with it, that iron is evidence- agree with it or don't accept it but do not remove it- you notate it on your map and in your report of survey. Then, if you are afraid that the neighbor may use it incorrectly, ask the client if you may contact that neighbor and provide them a copy of your report. If they say no, come off the money to put your survey on record. Then you are not liable for the person who uses the iron you do not agree with. But do not remove irons that you did not accept. That is a pretty simple rule.
Guilty of not knowing the little workings of the board.

Cool. Can you find the smiley with the 2*4?
Nopie, nopie..That was the one I was hunting for. Maybe Wendell can make one since he's the artist in our midst.
If not, with this crowd a smiley beating a dead horse would be useful as well. LOL
I LIKE!!!!! I LIKE!!!!!
Wendell, any chance of that being on the smiley tab?

Any comments on the gist of the argument?

I'm sorry to hijack the thread with the off topic stuff.

I have lots to say but I'm just not in the mood for a fight this weekend. I have lost my patience with Austin and just do not have any fight left in me today.
LOL!
Both of those are sorely needed in the smiley collection.

I understand completely!
Have a great day.
