I recently purchased a set of used GSR2700ISX units and are running them with Carlson SURVCE. Do I need Sokkias config software in order to change the frequencies on the internal radios or can I do that thru SurvCE. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You need GSR config tool to change various settings on the receiver.
SurvCE doesn't change these settings.

I'm running SurvCE 2.62 and with it you can change the frequency:

Try this, open SurvCE and connect to the receiver:
Tap 'Equip' tab then '2 GPS Base', or '3 GPS Rover' button.
When connected tap the 'RTK' tab, you'll then see 'Device', at the right there's a button with spanner/hammer symbol, tap this and you get to a page that allows you to change power, frequency, channel spacing, squelch and on/off for forward error correction (should be on).

What the config tool gives over and above this is volume adjustment, language options and you can change the default POWERUP configuration. It's easy to install on a DC.

Thanks for the help Artie. Looks like that works, for some reason after I set it up that didn't show up but after shutting down and opening again it worked fine.

I forgot to say that! All changes only take effect after switching off then on, same with loading the powerup configurations etc.
