Hello
I know Trimble TerraSync with Pathfinder Office is great as postprocessing solution. Trimble is slow in moving to Android. They have a solution but it requires ArcMap. Another solution I found is OnPoz by EffiGIS out of Canada.
Any other suggestions for GIS type data collection with postprocessing i.e. completely offline.
Sincerely

Mappers are being left out of a solution to tie to the NSRF when you need an alternative to space-based / cellular augmentation.?ÿ Until the "Big Boys" get this you have pointed to about the only solution out there.?ÿ ?ÿI have no experience with OnPoz, but it looks very promising.?ÿ?ÿ
I do have experience with the Garmin line.?ÿ Its not PPK with kinematic, but now that the 66 /86 series, and Montana 700 https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=7iMJZdoCcM2562XlKlMC76 have Rinex and I've had very impressive results (point only) in the open, with solutions in 10-30cm ,?ÿ but I'm passing the RINEX through Trimble TBC.?ÿ Still its not a "GIS" solution, but for simple track to line/poly with DNRGPS, its darn cheap to spit out a shape file.?ÿ?ÿ
It seems the GPS manufactures have given up and are kowtowing to the ESRI matrix.?ÿ As a fed were also being forced out of WM devices (the golden age of workflows that never broke).
Trimble was at the forefront in MGIS. Trimble hardware in MGIS is bad compared to the quality they offer in Survey. But the software was excellent. Now the TerraFlex needs ArcMap for PP. ArcMap is outdated therefore soon we will need to learn ArcGIS Pro. This should not be required at all, just to post process GNSS data.

100% in agreement.?ÿ Trimble MGIS has handed us off to ESRI.?ÿ Trimble Positions same thing.?ÿ Lots to think about with keeping ArcMap around for a very long time.?ÿ And lets not forget we in GIS have been abandoned to multiple devices (controller, receiver, MIFI, Middleware (to communicate NMEA to field software), and software to get what the Geo's did all-in-one.?ÿ There is all this focus that we all have realtime all time.?ÿ Its a bogus assumption.?ÿ I've jumped into Positions at least that has a more robust datum handling and diff. correction that I trust - but still an ArcMap extension.?ÿ And I still use SSF files for consumption.
