I'm running Star*Net v6.0 (pre-MicroSurvey) on Windows 7 Pro. I ran StarGeoid to convert the downloaded GEOID12 *.bin files to *.ght files for use with Star*Net, and the conversion appeared to work without incident. However, when I looked in the specified output folder, I didn't see the GHT files. Only after searching my entire boot drive did I learn that they went to C:UsersJim FrameAppDataLocalVirtualStoreProgram Files (x86)StarplusStarNet. Once I located the files I was able to copy them to C:Program Files (x86)StarplusStarNetModels for use by Star*Net.

Windows 7 treats the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders different from other folders for security reasons, which makes life very interesting at times.
