You're crazy. My list consisted of 3 foreclosures today. Two yesterday. Another two Friday. So on and so forth. Foreclosures = surveys.

You know Dave, I often disagree with you

but on this one you are spot on. We have not done a good job of it. And because of that, surveyors in FL almost got what they, as a profession that has not adapted to changing times, deserved. They got lucky, but in their arrogance, they will continue business as usual and eventually they will bite the bullet because they are not evolving.

> Florida surveyors are collectively responsible for the collapse of the real estate market and should be working for free for the next few years to make things right.

Funny thing about that statement: I am pretty much working for free right now when you consider that I'm under-employed (24-32 hours per week in Surveying), on partial unemployment and have enough free time in a given week to work 20-30 hours at a part-time job.

Thanks to my above board part-time job, I never see my partial unemployment checks. (I know the conservatives expect everyone in my position to game the system) I wasn't looking for a gov't handout when I got my degree in Surveying. I was looking for a job when I got my degree... If this economy doesn't pick up soon, I might pick up my degree, look for a change of scenery, and a full-time job again.
