is it possible to be the "surveyor of record" for more than one firm?

As far as I know, there is nothing illegal about it. I know of a couple of guys in NE Florida that do it.

Two totally different companies. Two LB numbers. Same surveyor. One is clearly a crappy broker type.company.

From all the teachings I've ever had, there must be a licensed surveyor on staff at each physical address that provides/advertises surveying services. You canT be one surveyor and run 8 offices across the state. However, I believe you can be the "surveyor of record" for multiple entities. (I personally know someone who claims to be the surveyor of record for about 5 small towns, two small counties and his company here in Florida.)
