Out of curiosity, removing pricing from the discussion, what would prevent you from accurately determining either? BFE is pretty straightforward in Zone AE. If it's in Zone A, I get the BFE from the floodplain administrator (in writing). Accurately determining the elevation (to a 0.1') is also fairly straightforward. I'm just wondering what has caused you problems in the past so that I may avoid similar pitfalls.

I taught a 2-3 hour EC 101 class at a seminar last month. I think quite a few attendees were surprised at how I go about them, and that it is not a simple level run to the floor. At $200 per cert, I would imagine that is a group I would get paid to do properly if there isn't a claim. I agree with Mr. Hickman, ALTA or EC, you neck is stretched way out there, so do a good job before the stamp goes on.

That goes without saying no matter what the project.
