I had one of the Seco antenna mast mounted in the center of an aluminum tripod until someone else needed one. I didn't like the lightweight tripod so I gave them mine and ordered just the mast assembly.

Mounting it on a flat plate, I can use my heavy tripod that I keep for the robot anyway and have one less tripod in the truck.

When I need "Just one more shot farther down the road" I have another antenna I connect to the rover and mount on a level rod. It's kinda awkward but it works.

I also have a magmount using the same antenna for the 4 wheeler or pickup. When I put the rover on top of the cab, the rubber antenna is right against the cab so the reception is not good. The magmount antenna helps with that.

This is what happens when you tell the Mechanic (the only one with a welder) to put an allthread every three miles +/- on a road job. We use these for the base for machine control. It's 23 inches from the power pole. I didn't use that one.

This one us just for fun. A belly dump hauling hotmix apparently had an air leak on his trailer and lost this pile of mix on the shoulder about 10 days ago. I painted it red and called TxDot last monday. I was gone all week and when I got back the pile was still there. I bought the pinwheels and decorated up the pile. TxDot has been notified again.
