Writing Legal Descriptions in Conjunction with Survey Boundary Control, by Wattles is a valuable resource the book goes deeply into the subject of boundary surveying, which is necessary to handling legal descriptions. The small print in the title may be overlooked until a deep reading is applied.
Writing Legal Descriptions in Conjunction with Survey Boundary Control,
I agree that book is outstanding. A must have addition to every surveyors library. Inexplicably, it seems to be out of print. If anyone knows of a source, please post the information.
Not sure about “entry level” but I recommend this to anyone that drafts a plan with a note that reads “1 inch OIP found 0.03’ east and 0.02’ south of computed corner”
