I finally decided to calibrate the auto focus feature on my S5 and try it out while taking a bunch of reflectorless shots. After calibrating it through the total station menu screen I realized I had no idea how to actually use the feature in Survey Pro. I'm starting to think that it doesn't support it.
Calibration of autofocus can be done directly on the instrument.
You dont need Survey Pro or Access.

I calibrated it through the instrument, however it's not auto focusing on anything so I assume there is a setting or button somewhere in the software to enable it. I know some features are gone or limited in Survey Pro since Access is the native software they run on, but I was wondering if anyone knew that to be the case for auto focus.

You could well be right there
For Access there is a check-box in the Instrument settings form to turn auto-focus off/on.
Sorry, can't speak to Survey Pro as I've never used it.
