Had a client bring in a worksheet for some engineered flood vents he just installed in his enclosure. Has anyone seen these before? They are black plastic, and don't look like anything other than a regular louvered cover.

I'm used to Smart Vents, but can't seem to find anything yet on the Fema.gov site about these.

Andy

edit... found their website.

unfortunately for my client, he didn't bother to ask me what to order, and he is still short by bit... uh-oh!!

Seems he looked at the Virginia certifications and those totals aren't as strict as the Florida CE's calculations.. double Rut-ro!

Where is he from Virginia? Why would he pick something for Fla. based on Va.?

I think because the numbers were slightly better on the Virginia engineering report. I don't know why they aren't the same.
