For those surveyors in North Dakota. Does the state regulate construction staking or oil and gas surveying? I have been asked by a very good client to layout pile locations at a new pipeline facility, and am just performing some due diligence prior to considering the project.

Thanks in advance

I see you are in Texas, a long way from ND. I am closer in Northern Idaho so if you would like to contract out some staking I would be happy to help you out.
Let me know if you would like a resume and some references.

Thanks,
Trey

Yes, subcontract may be the best suitable for the job and was just told about this project in a dinner meeting this evening. Of course like all oil and gas work, there is a very small window before the project starts so I was wanting to get a head start this evening on the logistics.

Are you licensed in ND, or do you not have to be to do oil and gas staking work?

No you do not have to be registered in ND to do construction staking. Get up there before winter and git r dun or you may be leaving body parts there in winter.

I am licensed in WA and ID but as someone already said I don't believe ND requires it for construction staking.

Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Thanks,
Trey
