I agree. As you know that's why it's important for the Land Surveyor to be up to speed and very familiar with the act as to not jeopardize his license. In Va the Land Surveyor can sign both Part A and Part B. If it's a condo conversion, you must measure up the inside. The arch plans can be very helpful in digital format when preparing the part b section for new developments. Language in Va's Condo act specifies certain language which indicates what stage the development is currently. "Not Yet Complete"..."Substantially Complete" etc. There are even two different codes when certifying a and b.

I like the idea he was recommended partnering with someone else if he has never done one before. The inexperienced attorneys can ask for something outside the code...they just can't ask for anything that would water it down.
