Realtors come up numbers.
Surveyors have a foundation for their numbers. It broke my heart to explain to Mr cow how to do it. But, it seemed more kindly to help him count properly, than to let him slide into the abyss!
(In good fun, Mr cow!) Let's see him defend his math.?ÿ (Grin)

Those guys with nothing but rocks for their cows to try to eat are unfamiliar with mud-coated hooves.?ÿ Hard to count what you can't see.
About 20 years ago I had a situation where they correct answer when counting hoofs and dividing by four would have produced a number such as 28,75,?ÿ Ol' Tripod only had three legs.
