I broke a bipod clip the other day. Gads. I miss that thing. Bipod clips. Such simple things. Yet, I really don't feel like trying to survey without one... Such a piece of plastic. Yet, I have become attached to that thing. I whacked it with a hammer, while while setting a corner.

What are some of the things you really like, to use, (regardless of their value, or price)

Thanks!

N

A pocket rod is my comfort tool. I've had one on a string and D-ring hooked to my belt loop for years. I use it to measure my HI, as a level rod, measuring tape for stake outs. For stake outs I lay it down flat to read where I need to place my point. For measuring fence heights, pipe sizes, offsets, a plumb bob, a straight edge, a line of sight tool, as a pointer looking at big maps or screens in clients offices. I've never opened a beer bottle with one thou. I would be lost without it.

Nate

replace it with a clamp that you would use when gluing boards together.

Me, I am lost without a pocket on my tshirt.......

I did design one out of cardboard, with a number of bends, then to be made from aluminum.... never did follow through though.
