Especially the oak tripods.
When I look at this old gear, memories flood me.
Maybe somebody can benefit, as it's "local pick up only".
I'd bet there is some drawer of misc there somewhere too.
Thanks
Nate
The new-style T16 is the plum of that lot.?ÿ I expect the bid to get run up pretty high before the auction ends.
Might even be some records, field books, file drawers, and such.
That might be handy.

Its all still there....
I thought about bidding because of the T16, but then I thought about the 6-hour drive each way to pick it up, and what am I going to do with yet another old surveying instrument anyway?
Well, keep the t16, and whatever else, resell the rest.
But, the real treasure here is possible records.
6 hrs away? Too far.

Here's another goodie in. Quincy Calif
https://www.ebay.com/itm/274626055552
It's in North central CA, and it's pick up only.
It's a "Balloon Theodolite", with a "bent telescope" design. Great for astronomical measurements without right-angle eyepieces and/or strained necks.
There's a jacob staff, and compass, and a nice oak tripod.
If I were closer...
