Being a serious map collector, I have never seen one of these before and am curious what the map actually looks like. Has anyone seen one of these? A person has quite a few on eBay now.

I hope it's better than the DeLorme atlas of the state of Iowa that I got in 1998. Their GPS grid had strange increments, for instance latitude grids marked at:
41 56 00
41 51 45
41 47 30
41 43 15
41 39 00
which certainly makes interpolation by eye quite interesting.

To be fair, I haven't looked for a later one to see if it has improved.

The main drawback, though was that it did not include all roads. I found a Sportsman's Atlas that includes all roads in the state, and township/range/section. Quite useful for bench mark hunting or for scoping out land parcels in unfamiliar territory. No lat-lon but I can get that on my handheld GPS.
