1819 Land Office

Here is the St. Helena District GLO building in Louisiana.
The last time I was there, it was being used as a Veterans Affair Office.
very small space and it is interesting that they used the greek columns.
The original jail is just up the street and it is two or three times the space.

Rocks?! They had rocks to build it with! How lucky can you get. All we had was prairie grass as high as the head of a rider on horseback.
