Hello to every one !?ÿ
I bought the last edition book of Charles Ghilani on Adjustment Computations but cannot find the software. The book has been delivered without CD Rom. Many thanks to any one who could help me to download that software.
Greetings from Belgium
joelvc?ÿ ?ÿ You say you bought the last edition of Ghilani book. So the last is the 6th edition (as far as I know). Is that correct?
The 5th edition does not have a CD ; but the 4th did. Did the post above by GeeOddMike help you?

Reviewing the Amazon site for information about the most recent edition (15th) of Dr. Ghilani??s Elementary Surveying text, I see no mention of a disk. I would not expect them to be included in any modern book.
Professor Emeritus Charles Ghilani was the director of the Penn State University - Wilkes-Barre (PSU-WB) surveying program; he retired in 2014.
Software he developed in support of the book and his classes is found under the ??Free Goodies? heading.
The link in my previous post includes a link to personal web site. I confess that I did not follow the links nor examine the software.
Looking at his person site (image below), I it contains the additional content described in the book description.

@geeoddmike?ÿ ?ÿThe Disk Joel is talking about came with the book " Adjustment computations spatial data analysis" 4th edition.
There was NO Disk with the 5th edition nor was there a Disk for the 6th edition which came out in 2017 according to my notes.
In the PREFACE of the 5th edition of the above book on page xvi?ÿ you have the following statement " In this fifth edition, Professor Charles D. Ghilani has increased discussion on using software, such as those contained on the companion?ÿweb site ( http://www.wiley.com/college/ghilani).
Hope this helps you and Joel.

I should more carefully read the OP before replying. I did not catch that it was Ghilani??s text on adjustments and not his surveying text.
Nonetheless the software on the PSU-WB and his personal site are probably what the OP wants.?ÿ
Looking at the most recent editions description on a few book selling sites, I do not see any reference to ??included CD-ROM? or similar phrasing. But do see references to included software. See screen capture:
Your Wiley link did not work on my iPad Pro.
@geeoddmike?ÿ ?ÿI think your 1st link is where Joe must go (or anybody) to get the software. The link I posted came out of the 5th edition book and does not lead to software. I had to enter that link by hand to get it to lead me to Wiley page(?)
Thanks for your post above leading to the software. I am going to call Wiley tomorrow and see what they say.

Thanks for the link. Digging into the site, it appears that the extra resources for the book are implemented via a web site. Access requires that you register using a code on a card included in the book. The code can only be used once.

I am not willing to spend $150 on yet another adjustment text; therefore no way of judging whether the resources are worth the cost of the new text.?ÿ
Shortly after the release of his first edition, I took a four-day course offered by Dr Ghilani (and Jesse K) which covered the entire book. He is a good communicator and a very nice guy. His personal web site includes some of his narrated presentations. He had a good series of articles in the magazine XYZht ?ÿ
BTW the folks at GeoLab have some training materials using Dr Ghilani??s text at their web page. https://www.geolabsolutions.com/adjustment-theory

That was not my experience. I purchased the 6th edition earlier this year. I do not recall using any access code. I just fired up a clean ("private") browser window and was able to download the software.
Here's what I did:
1. Search the web for "ghilani adjustment computation wiley" and found the publisher's web page for the book.
2. I scrolled down to the Related Resources section, and clicked on the "View Student Companion Site" link. That took me to
https://bcs.wiley.com/he-bcs/Books?action=index&itemId=1119385989&bcsId=10961
3. I clicked on the "Browse by Resource" downarrow in the menu bar.
4. I clicked on "MathCAD and other software". A file download for Students.zip popped up and I saved the file.
5. I unzipped the file. In the "Software" directory were four setup programs to install the Matrix, Stats, Adjustment, and Problem Generator programs. There's a whole appendix in the book explaining the programs and how to use them. Throughout the book are problem sets using these programs with additional explanation.
The links I posted seem to be the same links you and others have posted above. However Wiley's side didn't make it easy to find Ghilani's software, it took me a fair be of poking around.
Hopefully there's enough explanation in the edition of the book you have to use the software.
It looks like Penn State unfortunately took down the page on their site.
Good luck!
Tony.
FYI the Wiley site doesn't seem to have all the spreadsheets used for the examples and problems in the book. The geolabsolutions link seems to have them.
I have a new copy of the 4th edition WITH the CD unopened available to the highest bidder.
