I use Nitro PDF as my PDF editing software. Anytime I start the program, I have to click a pop up window that UAC tells me that the program needs my permission to continue.

When I try to print to a PDF from any program, UAC tells me that I do not have permission to save ot that directory, and I have ot save to the "Jimmy" folder instead. Then the PDF opens up in Nitro, and I have to do a "save as" to my desired job folder.

It is getting real old, especially when I am researching a job, and create many PDF files.

How can I grant access or privileges to Nitro PDF? I have done a Google Search, and tried a few of the suggestions, but am still having problems. I tried turning off the UAC. it fixed the Nitro problem, but it messed with my Carlson registration, so I turned it back on.

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy

I do not know about Nitro but other PDF packages will not let you copy the software, shareware or licensed, to another
computer. Once you have made the copy, it is a real pain to get the copy detection off of your new computer.
If you have another computer that works, you could use Nitro there. If you get a new computer, make sure you
download the shareware Nitro and then manually enter the password.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed it was a UAC issue. I have submitted a support ticket with Nitro.
