Spectra precision survey pro software.?ÿ

Ok guys i have been using trimble business center and trimble access on a TSC3... It is easy to export a a surface as a .ttm and upload it to my data collector.?ÿ

I just got a good deal on a juno 5D running Survey Pro and it looks easy to upload and stake a dtm.... however will survey pro recognize a .ttm file?

I see I can export a .survey job from TBC,?ÿ though im not sure if I can include a surface with this type of file.?ÿ

can anyone help me out here?

I will check Monday I know survey pro will use a xml or dxf for a surface. The dtm were the tds surface files I havenƒ??t tried one of those in a while.

Thank you mvanhank222

I finally got it to work with a landxml file.?ÿ I had tried this before with no success. I kept getting a message saying that the .xml did not contain any 3D faces. I had assumed it was an error in the way i was exporting.?ÿ?ÿ

Now I believe it was possibly?ÿ just over the allowable size limit.. I sectioned the surfaces off in more reasonable sized regions and now its working.

Survey pro will not recognize a .ttm file... I thought that since it was basically a department within Trimble that there might be some cross compatibility... but nope.?ÿ

I do like a lot of things about survey pro?ÿ however, it is refreshing to have all the basic cogo functions such as curve solution's and triangle solutions easily labeled and available.... I have been running Trimble Access for awhile and it is definitely a powerful tool, but it does get frustrating trying to find the tools to do such simple task (especially while there is an excavator waiting on me). ... The functions are there they are just buried deep in the software within access ...?ÿ

?ÿ

Thanks again
