I have two computers running Windows 10.?ÿ They both have Data Transfer Utility from Trimble.?ÿ One works fine, on the other when I click on the icon all I get is a blank white screen.?ÿ I get the outline of the Utility but the screen is blank white showing none of the commands.?ÿ Anybody know how to correct this?
DataTransfer not building its menus suggests a problem with the operating system function libraries.
I'm pretty sure DataTransfer is (was) written in C++ and I would suspect maybe a version difference in the visual C++ redistributable libraries installed between the two machines.
Re-installing DataTransfer and libraries might fix it.
What are you trying to transfer data out of?
Good luck, we experienced similar issues over the years and finally just stopped fighting it and went to thumb drives for data transfer until we upgraded our equipment for transfer via dropbox or simple wi-fi drag and drop.
