Terramodel - Is there a "send to front/back" command?

When using Terramodel, we regularly need to put text over the top of drawn Plines. However, sometimes Terramodel will put the text behind the Plines. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or a command for sending the text to the front? Thank you!

Not what you are asking, but, I use the clip command to clip the lines altogether from the text.

After MUCH trial and error, I found that you have to save your project after each time you draw a single label for your text to be on top of the plines. If you draw multiple labels and then save your project, it will put the first label on top and all the other labels underneath the plines. Weird...

I use Terramodel. As best as I was aware the front to back settings are controlled in the print settings. Ie the colours with higher numbers overlap the colours with lower numbers. This is activated by the "sort by pen" checkbox when you plot.

Have your text in a colour with a high number and it will overlay any linework with a lower number colour.

I started using TerraModel about 1990.?ÿ I learned to use it for drafting and used it that way until about two years ago.?ÿ Trimble purchased Terramodel about 2001.?ÿ It was always said that they would integrate into their other software.?ÿ Took a long time but has finally happened.?ÿ The latest TBC will do almost everything that TerraModel did as far as drafting and much better.?ÿ Then there is the rest of TBC which is a complete software package.?ÿ Most use it as a program to download their field equipment then transfer to some other CAD package.?ÿ You don't need to do that if you learn the drafting and other functions available in TBC.?ÿ I don't use AutoCAD, MicroStation, Carlson or any other CAD type software.?ÿ Don't need it, don't want to learn how to use it.?ÿ TerraModel as good as it is (was) is going to die, not be supported by Trimble.?ÿ Make the effort to learn how to do your drafting (and much more) in TBC.?ÿ You will be glad you did.

I can import a TerraModel file into TBC so all my 25 years of project data is still available to me.?ÿ I don't know if other CAD packages will do that directly or not but you can export dwg or dxf from TerraModel.?ÿ Just an extra step to clean up after.?ÿ Software is costly and mastering it even more expensive.?ÿ I held on to TerraModel for a long time waiting for it to be improved upon and it finally happened with TBC.
