TBC level processing of Leica GSI file with sideshots- Benchmark instead of Computed

All our leveling sideshots import in to TBC as BENCHMARK instead of Computed.  Is there a way to globally change this, so we don't have to manually change them 860 of them?

A crew performed a leveling loop job with a Leica DNA10 level (GSI8 format).  When we import the file to TBC, the level editor locks all sideshot points as Benchmark.  It needs to be set to Computed to process with the loop.

Beyond going in and manually modifying each line, anybody know a setting or method to import the GSI file so the sideshots are automatically set to Computed?

I could be wrong about this, we haven't had Leica levels for a few years, but it sounds to me like your field guys are adjusting the lines, in the level.

This would make all points show as adjusted, which will bring them all in as benchmarks?ÿ I believe.?ÿ There's a switch in the run dialog somewhere, I can't get to it right now to tell you exactly where, to tell it to use Raw observations.?ÿ I think that should fix your problem.

I have noticed this recently too. If I change the sideshots to computed they will not adjust but if I leave as benchmarks (no elevation assigned) they will adjust. This also happens on any turns or sisdeshots that have redundant shots.?ÿ

@bobwesterman - The crews are not adjusting in the level itself.  I'll see about the settings in the level related to using raw observations.  Thanks for the guidance.  I'll post if a setting is found.

I don't use a digital level, but it could be the import setting used for the imported file. It's probably using an option that sets all points to "control" instead of not control or similar.
