Survey Pro Data Out

There is an option inside Survey Pro where you can enable data out, and output to a serial cable or a file. It got me interested into experimenting more with it, and i am just curious what you can do. So instead of the unit using serial you can output from the software. Can i somehow create a virtual port, or use the file option (which is of xml format) and tunnel it to rtklib or i dont know what else
