Hello RLPS!?ÿ

I am looking for some assistance with loading a geoid model in Survey Pro 5.8.1. I cannot for the life of me remove geoid files that are on the list or add them when selecting my coordinate system during the job creation. I currently have the HT2_0.ggf loaded in 2 or 3 different locations on my data collector. I cannot figure out how to add or remove them from the list in the software!?ÿ

With Trimble Access it is easy... Survey Pro... Not so much ?.?ÿ I also bet that it is super easy?ÿ?.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why is it in multiple places? The Geoid resides in the Geo Data folder.?ÿ Browse to it using windows explorer and delete.?ÿ You can add a new geoid by cut/paste into the Geo Data folder via thumb drive or by connecting to your PC via Windows Mobile.

So I have the geoid file in the Geodata folder. My problem is there is no option to add a new geoid in the software. Is it supposed to just automatically show up because it's in the geodata folder? Does it show up as the name of the .ggf? Because if it's supposed to automatically show up from the list of geoids during job creation there is something else wrong.?ÿ

First thing you must do when you add a Geoid file to your Geo Data folder is CLOSE and reopen Survey Pro.?ÿ The list of available geoid models is populated when you open Survey Pro and it will only display files that were resident in memory at that time.?ÿ There is no way to search.

If you have done these things, then specify which version (2012a, 2012b, or older) Geoid file you want to use and if the file is in that list it will load it.

the files you may need are on the Spectra Precision website under the Software category , choose support, and downloads.?ÿ There is a list of available Geoid models that are already in the ggf format you need.

Thank you JerryS. The one thing I never did was reboot to let it load from the geodata folder. Works great now. I feel silly haha!
