I was processing the raw data through STARNET and noticed this in the DAT files.

See the area highlighted in blue?
Searched the manual and didn't find an example or discussion.
I'm wondering why the MEAN ELEV always equals the first elevation.
And what the heck is the CALCULATED ELEV?

Anybody capable of explaining this?

Well...since the lazy way didn't work, I sat down and figured it out.
For the first pic (point PAC8) the "Original elevation" should be 298.739 and the reciprocal should be 298.749.
So the "Mean elevation" and "calculated elevation" are correct but not the "Original elevation".

In my opinion it should read "Forward elevation" correctly, then "Back elevation", then "Mean elevation".
But, I'm one of those troublemakers who likes to understand what he sees.
So take that with a grain of salt.

Keep in mind these are notes from the raw data, not StarNet information...

Oh I agree.
I'm just saying the raw notes should be clear and correct.
