So a collegue just brought an old drawing into C3D 2011.
When he draws lines they get little blue gips at each vertex. When you hover over any lines a little blue square with a blue flag pops up. If you select one line and try to grip edit like a stretch, all the other lines stay connected to it. Not quite like a polyline though, they stretch weird. Endpoints don't stay where they were, kinda all scrunches up together.
Anyway I think it's some wacked out system variable. Just never seen anything quite like it. Oh yeah, it happens in all drawings on his machine, even a fresh one.
I've heard of this! EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY! RUN!
;-)
If you zoom in very close to the little blue flag I think that you will see that it is a banner announcing the availability of an upgrade to C3D 2012. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Can you post a screenshot of the "blue flag"? I'm trying to imagine what that could be...
The only thing like that I can think of is the "Annotative" symbol, which is a little blue "A", I think (it looks more like a little blue radiation symbol to me). But you should never see that appear next to plain lines. It will only appear next to Annotative objects, such as MText, MLeaders, Dimensions, and Blocks.
"Infer Constraints" was turned on. It's the farthest left little button below the command line. I never knew this existed and am struggling with the concept. Why would you want this?

Watch this video about it. It sounds like a neat command for trims etc.
