Started having issues with plotting to mylar (matte film) yesterday. Text is too thick/blurry on the outside margins, each side.

Looks like this:

Tried cleaning the printheads and all other obvious fixes (I think), curious thing is that same print job prints fine on paper, just has issues on the mylar. Everything in the middle of the drawing is fine, it is just the outer 4-5" on each side.

Any thoughts on what could be going on is appreciated.

Does your mylar have a shiny/slick surface on one side? We had some mylar that just would't stop bleeding and ended up buying from a different supplier...

I have successfully used this particular roll of mylar several times, which is why this seems so odd.

I have had the same issues you describe in the past when attempting to use mylar made for laser priters with the inkjet.

The problem stems from water based, non-archival, inks that the plotters use now. Least little inconsistancy in the "tooth" of the mylar or any contaminant, and the ink bleeds out.
Looks like you have your text headers set to print bolder than the regular text. Try downsizing the text width and see it that fixes the problem. (Reset to your regular values when running the paper copies,)
