fatal error while attempting to create a profile

I'm having a problem creating a quick profile in Land Desktop 2008. Everytime I attempt to create the profile I get a fatal error and I don't see anything wrong. Any ideas on what this could be?

Sounds to me like a registry fault of some sort. I would try a registry clean up and fresh install.

I'm sure you did the "Audit" command.

in the past I have experienced fatal errors due to long file names. When I shortened the file names and re-ran the command, the program did work okay.
