Error opening topSURV on FC2000 -HELP!

I recently aquired the fc2000 and a robot and the dc has topSURV on it. Not sure the version.. Well yesterday i got a message saying the battery was dying so i change it. But when it comes back on theres an error opening topSURV. The job i did yesterday i cant open either. Only thing i can think of is everytime i change the batterybin this my backlight/power settings go back to default of 15sec. So it looks like before the backup data can load its shutting off for inactivity or something. I dont know wassup with this thing. Please help. I did see an older post about this but no answers.. if nothing else a topcon help line number would be wonderful. Thanks,
