My dad used Carlson so I learned surveying on it but these days?ÿ I pay the bills running Trimble due to employer equipment demands.?ÿ
I would like to try to have both programs on one data collector so I am fresh with the keys inputs.?ÿ The one cavet is the DC absolutely has to have alphanumeric keyboard because I was born in the computer age (I am a topo monkey with the right keyboard setup).
I heard that Trimble Tsc3 can run both programs, but I have no experience with this and I highly doubt work will let me mess their their Trimble Data Collectors.?ÿ I still use Carlson for some personal projects and I have a "emotional" bond with good ol' Carlson, I grew up on it....
Anyone have any?ÿ experience with using both softwares on one DC?
I do not own the TSC7 Data Collector but I would think it would be able to do so as it is running windows 10.?ÿ
I'm running Carlson SurvPC and Trimble Access on a Trimble Yuma2 tablet (No physical keyboard).?ÿ I only use SurvPC to run my Topcon GPS and Access for the robot.?ÿ I could see the radios being an issue if you were trying to run a robot with SurvPC on a Trimble box.
