Initially, I was a little underwhelmed with the Intellicad version. It seemed to keep bogging down - making for an unpleasant experience.
Over the weekend, I put the demo copy on my laptop which is just a few months old (much newer than the desktop I use). Carlson/Intellicad is screaming fast now.
My desktop specs indicate being very compatible with the requirements for running the software, but it is a very old machine.
The new desktop arrives on Wednesday, so I will see how it goes at that point.
I updated to the new 2013 build this morning. Carlson keeps on keeping on.
I have purchased the 2013 Intellicad version, but have not installed yet. I have been using LDD for many years, but stopped the updates in 2009 to save money at the time. I mainly purchased the Carlson to use to convert files back to autocad version 2007 which my clients mostly use. The question I have is if I install the Carlson in 2007 LDD, will I still be able to open 2013 autocad drawings or should I install the Intellicad version?
